Shipping occurs Monday through Friday, unless otherwise noted on our web page. Shipping may be temporarily suspended due to holidays, but we will be sure to post any changes in our shipping schedule on our home page and in our weekly newsletter.

US SHIPPING:
We like to use the United States Postal Service’s PRIORITY shipping service because we have found while it costs more there is a lesser chance of something happening to the packages in transit. All orders will be sent in Flat-Rate Priority envelopes or boxes to give you quick delivery for a good price no matter where you are in the US. Tracking and delivery confirmation service on packages sent Priority Mail is FREE! You will be charged actual shipping for all orders sent Priority Mail.

Flat-rate Priority Envelopes = $4.65 each
-- Envelope measures 12.5" x 9.5" and will usually fit: small notions, patterns, 1-3 books depending on size, OR 5-6 yards of fabric in one of these envelopes. (Or any combination)


Flat-rate Priority Boxes = $8.95 each
-- This box measures about 12"x14"x4" and can fit any combination of items and probably up to 10 yards of fabric. (LARGE orders may require more than one box.)

The only exception to the Priority Mailing will be for items on our website that have a specific shipping charge listed, which include but may not be limited to the block of the month kits or row by row kits. Large items that do not fit in the flat rate envelopes or boxes will be packaged and shipped separately. You will be notified of any difference in shipping costs.

As part of completing your on-line order, you will be able to choose whether your order will be sent in a flat rate Priority envelope or box. We will leave it up to your discretion to choose an envelope or box based on what you are ordering, but we do reserve the right to change your option and charge if your items will not fit in your chosen packaging.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: We can usually fit 6-7 yards of cotton fabric (not flannel) into a Flat-Rate Global Priority envelope. Shipping to Canada and Mexico is $9.00 per envelope. Shipping to everywhere else is $11.00. There will also be an additional $1.00 handling fee manually added to your shipping charge when we process your order for shipment. For any orders that will not fit into flat rate envelopes, you will be notified via e-mail of your shipping options, including costs and estimated shipping times.

GIFTS & SECRET PALS: If you are buying something for a gift and do not want prices left on the items, or as a Secret Pal gift and do not want your name included in the package, please let us know in the Special Comments section of your web order form.

RETURNS: No items may be returned without first making e-mail or phone contact with us. If we have made a mistake with your order, we will certainly correct it and pay for any return shipping. Due to copyright laws, there are ABSOLUTELY no exchanges or refunds on books or patterns. There are also no exchanges or refunds on clearance items.

Our goal is to give you rapid service and a positive shopping experience. If you do not get that, please let us know and we will do what we can to correct the problem. We look forward to serving you and sewing with you.
